15 Tons Trackless Automatic Transfer Carts Optimizing Industrial Transportation – Visit to Tangshan Kaiyuan Group
On May 6th, our company’s technical personnel revisited the production base of Tangshan Kaiyuan Group to conduct regular follow-up visits for the newly developed "15 tons trackless automatic transfer cart" and inspect its combat performance in complex scenarios.
With the core advantages of trackless operation, high load-bearing capacity, and strong safety, this trackless transfer cart is propelling the intelligent transformation of industrial heavy-duty transportation.
The cart adopts a lightweight design of 2800×1800×1500mm, equipped with a cast steel spliced frame and a flat loading platform. While ensuring a maximum load capacity of 15 tons, it achieves a dual improvement in body stability and space utilization.
Innovative Design: The dual steering-wheel active wheel structure – the polyurethane wheels can complete 90-degree in-situ rotation. Combined with the laser navigation system, it completely gets rid of track dependence, enabling smooth movement in high-temperature workshops, narrow passages, and other scenarios, significantly optimizing the cross-regional transportation efficiency of materials such as molds and steel.
Structure:To adapt to diversified industrial needs, the product is equipped with multiple industry-first configurations:
A hydraulic lifting platform (with a 1-meter lifting stroke) seamlessly connects loading and unloading operations at different heights;
A dual protection mechanism of safety touch edges and laser dead man stop, combined with warning lights, builds a safe defense line for human-machine collaboration.
In addition, the remote control system and the design of lifting rings on both sides of the cart make the fixing of heavy goods and long-distance remote transportation more convenient.
After experiencing the product, the Technical Director of Tangshan Kaiyuan Group stated: "The precise control and zero-radius steering capability brought by the dual steering-wheel structure have solved the 'last mile' transportation problem of large-tonnage materials in the building materials industry." It is reported that this equipment has been successfully applied in the manufacturing base, completing the transportation of over 200 tons of steel per day, demonstrating the high efficiency of "trackless free movement" transportation.
