5 Tons Motorized Transfer Cart: Empowering Heavy Duty Material Handling in Factory
Production Challenges
A large manufacturing enterprise faced inefficiencies in material flow within its workshop. Traditional forklifts struggled to operate in narrow aisles, while diesel powered carts caused noise pollution and emissions issues. The transportation of container molds and heavy raw materials relied on manual scheduling, resulting in low efficiency and potential safety risks.
Solution
Based on the customer’s requirements, we designed and produced this rail transfer cart with dimensions of 2500*600*400mm. It features a cast steel splicing frame for heavy duty stability and a flat platform tailored to material container sizes. Equipped with cast steel wheels, wireless remote control, shock absorption devices, and more, it operates without distance limitations and withstands workshop temperatures of 35–45°C.

Advantages
Precise Control: Wireless remote control enables accurate operation within a 10 meters range, with a small turning radius ideal for narrow spaces.
Heavy Duty Stability: Cast steel wheels combined with shock absorption ensure smooth handling of 5 tons loads. The compact structure resists deformation.
Environmental Adaptability: High temperature resistance allows operation in workshop environments up to 45°C, with fully enclosed electrical systems for dust and moisture protection.
Safety and Intelligence: Dual safety mechanisms include audible/visual alarms and emergency stop functions, while a battery level display provides real-time warnings to prevent mid-operation power loss.

Application
The transfer cart established a flexible material handling system in the enterprise’s workshop. During the day, it transports containers between production lines and raw material areas; at night, it handles batch transfers from finished product zones to storage areas. The customized platform fits the company’s standardized container base dimensions, connecting stamping, welding, and assembly areas via installed rail network to form a closed-loop logistics channel.
