5 Tonne Rail Guided Vehicle:Three-Layer Vacuum Furnace Docking Equipment

Recently, a 5 tonne safety sliding contact line powered Rail Guided Vehicle (RGV), specifically designed for vacuum furnace transfer scenarios, has been officially put into use in industrial production workshops.

This vehicle, serving as a dedicated docking device for three-layer vacuum furnaces, completely solves industry pain points such as limited distance, docking deviation, and poor adaptability to high-temperature environments in traditional heavy duty material transfer, becoming a core supporting transfer device for high-end heat treatment production lines.

The 5 tonne rail guided vehicle adopts a box-girder frame, with an overall structure customized for heavy load operation.

The platform features a three-layer composite structure

• The first layer facilitates the vehicle's movement along the rails; the second layer has a lifting function, adjusting the material position according to the vacuum furnace docking height;
• The third layer is equipped with a push-pull mechanism for the entry and exit of the container and for workstation connection. Additionally, the platform is equipped with guardrails and operating steps, improving safety during transfer and facilitating operator observation of the equipment's operating status.

Power Supply and Control

• The rail guided vehicle uses a safety sliding line combined with a current collector for power supply, eliminating the limitations of traditional battery life and meeting continuous operation requirements. The control system integrates PLC control, touchscreen control, wireless remote control, and wired handle, offering multiple operation modes for flexible switching between different work stages.
• With a laser sensor device, it assists in precise vehicle positioning and docking with vacuum furnace workstations; safety features such as audible and visual warning lights and emergency stop buttons further enhance the controllability of the equipment during operation.
