10 Tons Battery Rail Transfer Cart for Steel Transport
Production Challenges
A company specializing in the production of large-scale pipeline has components weighing 8-10 tons within its workshop. Traditional forklifts are limited by space constraints and lack flexibility. Furthermore, internal combustion forklifts suffer from high emissions, low transfer efficiency, and issues such as slippage during heavy load transport and insufficient range for long-distance transport, severely impacting production line efficiency.
Solution
To address the client's specific needs, Newld customized a 10 tons battery powered rail transfer cart. The cart measures 3600×2000×500mm and operates at a speed of 0-25m/min.
The rail transfer cart features a box-girder frame with a flat platform, allowing direct support for steel structures and other heavy workpieces. Powered by batteries, it eliminates the need for external cables, meeting the material transfer requirements between different workstations within the workshop and adapting to the existing layout.

Advantages
- Stable Under Heavy Loads: The box-girder structure supports a 10-ton load, with stepless speed regulation from 0-25m/min, ensuring smooth and vibration-free operation.
- Green and Flexible: Battery powered with zero emissions and low noise; equipped with both wireless remote control and wired handle dual control modes, allowing for easy operation by a single person.
- Safe and Reliable: Integrated with audible and visual warning lights and an emergency stop button, multiple safety features ensure the safety of personnel and the cart.

Applications
On pipeline equipment production lines, this rail transfer cart is responsible for smoothly transporting cut heavy steel to welding and painting processes.
Large flat platform accommodates long materials; precise track routing and adjustable running speed adapt to different transfer scenarios; no blind spots in the entire transport process; smooth component transfer flow; suitable for continuous production operations in the workshop.
