2.5 Tons Lifting Rail Transfer Cart for Mold Handling

Production Challenge
In a machinery production workshop, frequent transportation of large workpieces weighing up to 2.5 tons is required. Traditional handling methods relying on forklifts and manual assistance face several issues.
Solution
Based on the customer's operational requirements and the actual application scenario, we designed and manufactured this 2.5 tons mobile cable powered rail transfer cart.
Transfer cart is powered via a cable and drag chain system, completely eliminating power constraints. Its box-beam structure ensures no deformation under a 2.5-ton load.
The platform features a screw lifting mechanism, making it easy to interface with tooling at different heights. Custom brackets (2–3 meters in length) are installed at the four corners to securely hold elongated structural components. Cart also supports both wireless remote control and wired handle operation, enabling precise control by a single operator.

Advantages
The cable powered system eliminates time restrictions, enabling 24/7 continuous operation. It is resistant to high temperatures, making it well-suited for workshop conditions. With outstanding heavy load performance, user-friendly operation, and eco-friendly energy efficiency, the cart can be customized to meet specific production needs.

Application
The cart operates between welding and assembly stations, steadily transporting heavy duty frames under full load. Upon reaching the station, the operator uses the wireless remote to precisely raise the screw-driven platform, allowing the brackets to align with and securely pick up the workpiece without requiring prolonged waiting for overhead cranes.
By enabling "self-loading and unloading" and "continuous power supply," the rail transfer cart has reduced production interruptions by 80%. It has now become a critical piece of logistics equipment in heavy machinery workshops.
