3 Tons Trackless AGV Solves Large-Part Transfer Bottlenecks
Production Challenges
In a manufacturing company's automated workshop, the workpieces and materials requiring transfer are generally large. The workshop space is also large, necessitating adjustments to transfer routes based on actual production needs. Furthermore, the company is undergoing an intelligent upgrade, demanding high positioning accuracy and maneuverability from the transfer equipment.

Solution
Based on the client's specific needs, Newld customized this 3 tons lithium battery-powered trackless AGV. Its dimensions are 16000×4500×1200mm, and its speed is 2.4–5m/min.
The Automated Guided Vehicle utilizes a robust and durable cast steel frame and a practical platform. Utilizing a laser navigation system and McLaren technology, the vehicle is completely free from the constraints of ground tracks. The lithium battery, combined with an automatic charging station, allows for unrestricted movement.
The AGV combines a PLC control system with both wireless remote control and wired handle operation, enabling flexible lateral movement, diagonal travel, and on-the-spot turning within the confined space of the workshop, flexibly meeting the client's ever-changing transfer requirements.

Advantages
- Flexible Operation: The AGV uses laser navigation, eliminating the need for tracks and removing path limitations. Equipped with 360-degree flexible wheels, it can be freely deployed across any area of the workshop.
- Intelligent Charging: Powered by lithium batteries and equipped with intelligent charging stations, it enables fast charging and immediate use. The AGV can also be connected to a PLC control system for setting charging frequency and real-time power monitoring.

Practical Value
This 3 tons laser guided trackless AGV combines heavy-duty load capacity, flexible movement, and intelligent control, reducing the limitations of fixed tracks on workshop layouts and helping customers improve issues such as route constraints, inconvenient handling, and inefficient workstation connections in the transfer of large materials.
NEWLD can customize the platform structure, navigation method, and control scheme according to the actual workpiece size, load requirements, operating route, and on-site processes, providing a more suitable material handling solution for automated production workshops.
