Low Profile Hydraulic Lifting Rail Transfer Cart Facilitates Efficient Mold Handling
Production Challenges
A heavy machinery manufacturing company's mold workshop has long faced the challenge of transporting large molds. Individual molds typically weigh between 6 and 9 tons. Furthermore, loading and unloading molds requires additional lifting equipment, leading to disjointed processes.

Solution
To address the company's low-ceiling, heavy-load transport needs, Newld customized this 10 tons battery powered rail transfer cart for the client.
With a height of only 220mm,hydraulic lifting plates on both sides allow for direct lifting of molds for autonomous loading and unloading without additional lifting equipment. Utilizing cast steel wheels and a box-girder frame, it operates without deformation even under a full 10-ton load. It features both wireless remote control and wired handle dual control modes to adapt to different working distances within the workshop.

Advantages
- Structural Optimization: The low profile of the transfer cart combined with a robust box-girder frame facilitates low-level loading and unloading and transport needs at specific workstations.
- Autonomous and Efficient: The rail transfer cart is battery powered and comes with a charger, offering unlimited operating distance and stepless speed control from 0-20m/min.
- Safe and Reliable: Equipped with cast steel wheels, a shock absorption system, an emergency stop button, audible and visual warning lights, and an LED status display, ensuring flawless operation under heavy loads.
Applications
The rail transfer cart moves between machining and assembly stations along a pre-set track, transferring molds and steel components. It autonomously loads and unloads workpieces using hydraulic lifting plates on both sides. Operators can remotely control the cart, and the LED screen displays the real-time operating status.
