Roller Table Rail Transfer Cart for Steel Coil Handling
Production Challenges
The metal processing workshop has long faced difficulties in handling steel coil transportation. Traditionally, moving 8 to10 tons steel coils relied on a combination of forklifts and overhead cranes, requiring coordinated efforts from multiple personnel. Loading and unloading were time-consuming and labor-intensive. Additionally, in high temperature environments (55°C), manual hooking and hoisting operations were prone to fatigue, severely impacting production continuity.

Solution
Based on the customer's operational requirements and actual working conditions, we designed and manufactured a customized solution to comprehensively address these production needs.
The rail transfer cart features a high strength box-beam frame and cast steel wheels, equipped with a bi-directional rotating roller tabletop for precise alignment with steel coils during loading and unloading. Controlled via wireless remote operation, personnel can flexibly command the vehicle's movement, steering, and tabletop rotation from a distance. The equipment is fitted with a high temperature resistant battery system and multiple safety protections, enabling stable, round-the-clock operation under high temperature and heavy load conditions.

Advantages
Heavy Duty Efficiency: With a rated load capacity of 10 tons, it easily handles steel coils. The roller tabletop eliminates the need for crane hoisting, reducing loading and unloading time by 70%.
Boundless Flexibility: Battery powered operation breaks the limitations of fixed power supply distances, adapting to complex workshop pathways.
Safe and Intelligent: Wireless remote control, combined with audible and visual alerts and emergency stop protection, ensures safe human-machine collaboration.
Environmentally Adapted: Zero-emission battery power, along with high temperature and corrosion resistant cast steel wheels, meets the demands of high temperature, high dust workshop environments.

Application
In practical application, the operator uses a remote controller to direct the rail transfer cart to the steel coil temporary storage area. The roller tabletop rotates counterclockwise to align with the coil axis, assisting in positioning.
The cart then transports the coil along a predetermined route to the processing line, where the tabletop rotates clockwise to accurately unload the coil at the designated station. The entire process requires no manual close-range operation, reducing single transfer time by 40% compared to the original procedure, while completely eliminating the risk of coil rolling deviation.
This transfer cart effectively resolves the pain points of steel coil handling,"low efficiency, high safety risks, and space constraints",making it a core asset for heavy duty coiled material transportation in industries such as metal processing and steel manufacturing. It empowers enterprises to achieve both cost reduction and efficiency improvement, alongside enhanced production safety.
