3 Tons V-Block Rail Transfer Cart Upgrades Steel Coil Handling in Workshop
A 3 tons mobile cable powered rail transfer cart, designed specifically for heavy industrial environments, has recently been put into use in a steel coil production workshop. Its custom hydraulic lifting table solves the common problems of poor adaptability and limited operation found in traditional transfer equipment.
The cart is customized based on the materials it needs to handle, with overall dimensions of 1850x880x900mm. It uses a mobile cable power supply, which means there is no time limit on operation. With a steady travel speed of 6 meters per minute, it is well suited for long-distance, high-frequency transport within the workshop.
- In terms of construction, the rail transfer cart features high load cast steel wheels that support heavy, continuous operation. The custom table is equipped with a hydraulic lifting device and a V-block frame, which securely holds round steel coils in place and prevents them from slipping or rolling off during transport.
- For smart operation, the rail transfer cart comes with both a wireless remote control and a wired handheld controller. Operators can control it remotely from up to 50 meters away. It also includes an audible and visual warning light and an emergency stop button, so power can be cut immediately in case of any abnormality, ensuring workplace safety.
The rail transfer cart is now running steadily in the steel coil processing workshop. Operators have reported that the cart runs smoothly, responds quickly to controls, and the combination of the V-block and lifting device has greatly simplified the loading and unloading process.
