10 Tons Lifting Rail Transfer Cart for High Temperature Mold
Usage Challenges
In a foundry workshop, the furnace doors weigh up to 8 tons and are extremely hot. Traditional forklifts cannot maneuver flexibly on the complex, interconnected tracks, limiting transport distances. Each furnace door replacement requires manual positioning assistance, posing a risk of burns.
Solution
Based on the customer's needs and the actual application scenario, we designed and manufactured this 10 tons hydraulic lifting rail transfer cart. The frame is made of cast steel, resistant to high temperatures and deformation. The steering wheel-like wheels, combined with the hydraulic lifting system under the cart, allow for 90 degrees rotation, easily switching paths between the tracks.
The semi-recessed structure of the flat platform, combined with two near-ground brackets, precisely supports the furnace doors. Wireless remote control with an intelligent coding control system enables single-person remote operation, while audible and visual alarms and an emergency stop button ensure operational safety.

Advantages
Omnidirectional Mobility: Breaks distance limitations, freely traversing the tracks, adaptable to complex workshop layouts.
Heavy Duty Stability: Rail transfer cart driven by dual DC motors under 10-ton loads, operation remains smooth as ever.
Intelligent Safety: Integrated with an intelligent coding control system and audible and visual alarms, supporting wireless remote control, ensuring operational safety in high temperature areas.

Application
In actual operation, this lifting rail transfer cart moves between two high temperature furnaces. When furnace A completes heating and the furnace door needs to be opened, the rail transfer cart quickly positions itself at the furnace opening via intelligent coding control.
A hydraulic support rises precisely to lift the furnace door, and a steering wheel-like structure enables precise switching between tracks, temporarily transferring or delivering the door to the furnace B workstation for collaborative operation. The cart's dimensions match the furnace door, fitting the on-site operating space.
