Anti-heat Production Line RGV with Elevating Ladder

Production Challenge
A major refractory materials manufacturer was facing severe logistical difficulties in inter-process transportation. Workpieces needed to be frequently shuttled between the normal-temperature molding workshop and the high temperature firing workshop.
Additionally, height differences between production lines necessitated manual assistance for loading and unloading, resulting in low efficiency and difficulty in controlling transfer rhythms, which severely impacted overall production capacity.
Solution
Based on the customer's operational requirements and the specific application scenario, we designed and manufactured this customized 15 tons low voltage railway powered RGV (Rail Guided Vehicle).
This vehicle features a box-beam frame and a customized double-layer platform: The lower layer is the travel body powered by a low voltage rail system, utilizing safe sliding contact lines for power supply, enabling continuous operation without limitations on travel distance or time. The upper layer is equipped with a mobile cable-powered cart and a hydraulic lifting ladder, capable of precisely aligning with production line tracks at different elevations to complete the cross-line transfer of workpieces.

Advantages
This RGV is specifically designed for heavy load, high temperature operating conditions, boasting notable characteristics such as high temperature resistance, strong load-bearing capacity, and flexible maneuverability.
Insulated wheels eliminate the risk of electrical leakage, while laser dead man stop systems and emergency stop buttons provide multiple layers of personnel safety protection. A wireless remote control and intelligent coded control system enable one-click dispatching.
Coupled with audible and visual warning lights and an LED display screen, it provides real-time feedback on operational status, ensuring full visibility throughout the process.

Application
After deployment in the forging workshop, the upper cart receives materials via a coupling device, and the RGV travels along the rail into the high temperature workshop.
Upon reaching the designated workstation, the hydraulic lifting ladder automatically rises to achieve precise alignment with the production line track. The upper cart, carrying the workpiece, then smoothly moves into the next process step, requiring no manual intervention throughout the entire process.
The laser dead man stop system achieves millisecond-level emergency braking when personnel approach, ensuring stable operation even in high-temperature, dusty environments.
The RGV achieves autonomous loading and unloading and 24 hours continuous operation, increasing production efficiency by over 40%. Simultaneously, it eliminates the safety risks associated with manual operations, contributing to the intelligent upgrade of the high temperature workshop.
