Large Table Conducting Rail Drive Transfer Cart for Workshop
Difficulties:
A large automotive parts factory faced long-standing challenges in transporting molds and components between storage areas, production lines, and within the factory. Traditional handling equipment was limited by distance, frequently broke down in high temperature conditions, and lacked stability under heavy loads, severely impacting production efficiency.
Solution:
To address this, the factory introduced a low voltage rail powered rail transfer cart, a customized solution that improved efficiency throughout the entire process. The equipment features a 400*2200*500mm box-girder frame, insulated wheels, and a power supply system consisting of a ground control cabinet, carbon brushes, and conductive posts, completely eliminating the constraints of traditional cables.
Laser dead man stops (with a 3 meters sensing distance) and safety edges provide dual safety features. The operator interface features dual-mode control: a wireless remote control and a wired handle. Dust interference automatically switches to wired mode to ensure signal stability.
Application:
The rail transfer cart uses pre-set rails to enable direct transport from storage to the production line. Shock-absorbing devices minimize impact during mold loading and unloading to ±2mm, while audible and visual warning lights and an emergency stop button ensure safe human-machine collaboration.
The ground control cabinet monitors cooperated with carbon brush and conductive columns, it extends continuous operation time to 24 hours. Three months after its commissioning, the factory's mold transfer efficiency increased by 180%, while labor costs decreased by 60%.
Its heavy load capacity and unlimited distance make it a perfect match for the cross-regional material flow needs of industries such as automotive manufacturing and heavy machinery.
