Recently, our company has customized and developed an 80 tons cable reel powered ladle transfer cart to meet the high temperature and heavy load transportation needs of the metallurgical industry. The equipment is specifically designed for handling copper ladles and steel ladles, and thanks to its intelligent configuration and high temperature resistant design, it solves the pain points of traditional handling equipment, such as insufficient stability and poor positioning accuracy under complex working conditions.

This ladle transfer cart has overall dimensions of 7730x4200x1200mm. Its moving speed supports frequency conversion adjustment from 0-20m/min, which can be flexibly adjusted according to on-site operational needs,matching the rhythm of long distance transfer operations in metallurgical workshops.

Structural Design

• This ladle transfer cart uses a box-beam frame with a customized platform, equipped with cast steel wheels and dual-motor drive to ensure stability under heavy loads. It supports both wired handle and wireless remote control modes, and is equipped with an emergency stop button and audible and visual warning lights for enhanced safety. Optional customized ladle brackets and hydraulic lifting devices are available to adapt to different sized ladles.
• Compared to traditional material handling equipment, it has no time limit and can withstand molten metal splashes up to 800℃ and high temperatures at the bottom of 200-300℃. It features specialized high temperature protection treatment, making it suitable for harsh metallurgical operating environments.

Intelligent Functions Adapt to On-Site Needs

This ladle transfer cart is equipped with a positioning and sensing system, featuring positioning calibration devices at key locations such as the slag outlet and slow-cooling area unloading point. Through positioning algorithms and obstacle recognition technology, it can achieve multi-vehicle collaborative operation and fixed-point parking. The parking accuracy meets production requirements, and even if the remote control malfunctions, the built-in controller can serve as a backup to ensure uninterrupted operation.
