0.4 Tons Battery Rail Transfer Cart for Power Plant

Production Challenges
Certain areas of the plant are classified as explosion hazard zones where conventional handling equipment cannot be used, posing safety risks. Traditional equipment is also limited by power supply lines, restricting its operating range and reducing crossarea transfer efficiency. Moreover, the lack of comprehensive safety measures increases the risk of falls and impacts, severely hindering production flow efficiency.

Solution
Based on the customer’s operational needs and working environment, we designed and manufactured a 0.4 tons explosion proof battery powered rail transfer cart.
The cart is equipped with an explosionproof battery and a portable charger, providing unlimited range and enabling continuous operation. Its body features a caststeel welded frame, a customized antifall platform, front and rear baffles, side guard plates, shock absorption buffers, and safety touch edges to ensure stable and secure heavy load handling.
Cast steel wheels are adapted for rail operation, while explosion proof enclosures and audible and visual warning lights meet requirements for high risk environments.
The cart is operated via wireless remote control and an intelligent coding control system for flexible movement. An LED screen displays realtime battery level and status, and an emergency stop button is provided for sudden incidents.

Application
After deployment, the equipment primarily handles the transfer of workpieces and electrical components between explosion hazard zones and ordinary areas within the plant.
Operators use the wireless remote to start/stop and steer the cart, while the LED screen shows realtime operational status and the battery display allows accurate range management.
The customized platform securely holds materials of different specifications, and the protective structure effectively prevents falls and collisions. Its high temperature resistance adapts to complex workshop conditions.
Powered by ecofriendly electricity, the cart’s unlimited range and heavy load capacity significantly improve material flow efficiency and reduce reliance on manual labor. It supports the workshop in achieving safe, efficient, and sustainable logistics upgrades.
