20 Tons Rail Transfer Cart with Hydraulic Lifting for Container Handling
Production Challenges
In the production workshop of a large manufacturing enterprise, the transfer tasks for containers and heavy molds are highly demanding. Multiple lifting and handling operations are required, leading to poor connection between processes, which has become a bottleneck in the production cycle. Fixed lifting equipment cannot cover the entire material flow path, and the precise positioning and independent loading/unloading of heavy materials rely heavily on manual labor, posing safety risks while being time-consuming and labor-intensive.

Solution
Based on the customer’s operational requirements and actual working conditions, we designed and implemented a 20 tons battery powered hydraulic lifting rail transfer cart system.
This solution combines the lifting rail transfer car with a cable powered horizontal shuttle cart, guided by fixed laid tracks and integrated with a wireless remote control system. Together, they establish an efficient, continuous, and heavy duty transportation network connecting key workstations.

Product Value
Seamless Connectivity and Process Reengineering: The transfer cart and shuttle cart work in coordination to enable direct docking between production lines and storage areas, achieving point-to-point continuous transportation. This replaces traditional segmented handling and significantly shortens transfer cycles.
Independent Loading and Unloading:The hydraulic lifting platform can be freely adjusted in height (±200mm), allowing rapid self-alignment and handling of heavy containers or molds. This reduces dependency on lifting equipment and waiting time, increasing single transfer efficiency by approximately 60%, while significantly lowering labor intensity and safety risks.
Green and Safe Operation: Powered by electricity, the transfer cart eliminates pollutant emissions and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The equipment is also equipped with wireless remote control, audible and visual warning lights, an emergency stop button, and a battery level display, enabling remote safe operation and real-time status monitoring to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and materials.

Application
Upon arriving at the designated location in the production workshop via the rail, the transfer cart adjusts the height of the hydraulic lifting platform via wireless remote control. The operator lowers the platform, moves the cart under the container, raises the platform to lift it, and then transports it smoothly and precisely along the rail to the shuttle cart.
During operation, audible and visual warning lights alert nearby personnel. The battery level display provides real-time feedback on remaining power, and the emergency stop button allows for immediate operation interruption when necessary, ensuring full safety throughout the process.
