75 Tons Battery Drive Rail Transfer Cart for Material Handling
Production Challenge
A large manufacturing plant's painting workshop has long faced challenges in transporting heavy duty molds. Traditional forklifts suffer from poor maneuverability in narrow rail areas, and internal combustion equipment emits exhaust fumes that compromise the cleanliness of the painting environment. Manual handling is inefficient and poses significant safety risks. The high temperature conditions and explosion proof requirements in the workshop further limit equipment selection, making workpiece transfer on the painting line a bottleneck for productivity improvement.

Solution
Based on the customer’s practical needs, we designed and manufactured this 75 tons battery powered rail transfer cart.A box-beam frame provides compact and deformation resistant structure, ensuring stable support for 75 tons heavy loads.Wear resistant cast steel wheels and a dual-motor drive deliver robust power and reliable operational performance.
An explosion proof enclosure protects electrical components, equipping the cart with explosion proof capability to meet painting line safety requirements.
Battery powered operation eliminates distance limitations and withstands high temperature environments.
A dual-control system with wired handle and wireless remote enables operation within a 50 meters range.Triple safety protection is achieved through a laser dead man stop, audible and visual warning lights, and emergency stop buttons.

Advantages
Precise Control: The laser dead man stop system monitors operational status in real time, automatically applying brakes in case of abnormalities to ensure the safety of both personnel and the cart.
Heavy Duty and Environmental Resilience: With a 75 tons load capacity, it meets the demands of transporting large molds, while its high temperature resistant design adapts to conditions around the painting line’s drying oven.

Application
The rail transfer cart is deployed in the connecting area between the pretreatment section and the drying oven of the painting line. Operators remotely manage the cart via wireless remote control from the control room, monitor energy consumption in real time using the battery display, and effectively respond to emergencies with the emergency stop button and explosion proof design.
