35 Tons Rail Transfer Cart for Molten Aluminum Handling
Production Challenges
In a manufacturing facility, there is a need to transport high temperature molten aluminum (exceeding 700°C). The circular layout of the workshop restricts the operation of traditional handling equipment, leading to issues such as instability in heavy load transportation, susceptibility to damage in high temperature environments, limited maneuverability, and constraints on operating distance and time. These factors result in low efficiency and high safety risks.

Solution
Based on the customer’s actual operational needs and production environment, we have customized and produced a 35 tons safety sliding line power supply rail transfer cart. The cart is equipped with cast steel wheels and a customized refractory brick platform, enabling precise, unlimited distance remote control within the circular workshop via a wireless remote control system. The cart features a reinforced box-girder frame and is powered by a safety sliding line and collector continuous power supply system, eliminating limitations on operating time and distance. It is also equipped with audible and visual warning lights and an emergency stop button, providing multiple layers of safety protection.

Advantages
Adaptation to Extreme Conditions: The refractory brick platform can withstand radiant heat from molten aluminum exceeding 800°C, while the cast steel wheels ensure no deformation under heavy loads.
Intelligent and Flexible Control: The wireless remote control system enables millimeter-level positioning, reducing the turning radius by 40% compared to traditional equipment.
Continuous and Efficient Operation: The sliding line power supply overcomes battery endurance limitations, supporting 24/7 uninterrupted operation.

Application
In a circular casting workshop with a diameter of 150 meters, transfer carts operate alternately under a central dispatch system. Each cart transports tens of tons of molten aluminum per trip to five pouring stations. Operators control the entire process via remote control from a heat-protected observation room. The refractory brick platform effectively protects electrical components, while the wheels demonstrate wear resistance and high temperature tolerance in hot, dusty environments. Audible and visual warning lights alert nearby personnel, and the emergency stop button is readily available to address unexpected situations. The entire process requires no close human contact with high temperature materials.
