Production Challenges
A production workshop required autonomous heavy load material handling across multiple material ports. Traditional transfer equipment was limited to unidirectional movement with constrained vertical and horizontal mobility, resulting in low docking accuracy. Manual loading and unloading proved inefficient, while the lack of automatic weighing often led to overloading.

Solution
Based on the client’s actual operational needs and production environment, we designed and manufactured this battery powered double layers vertical and horizontal movement rail guided vehicle (RGV).
The vehicle features a box-girder frame with high temperature resistance and a customized double layers structure,the upper layer equipped with an automatic weighing device. Cast steel wheels enable flexible vertical and horizontal movement, while wireless remote control and an intelligent coding control system ensure precise docking with material ports.
A three colors audible and visual warning light, emergency stop button, and laser dead man stop mechanism form an integrated safety system. The battery level display provides real-time status feedback, and battery power supply eliminates operational distance restrictions.

Application
The RGV automatically identifies multiple material ports via its intelligent coding system. Its double layers structure allows weighing on the upper level and loading on the lower level.
Dual-layers enable longitudinal and transverse movement without vehicle switching. The system covers the entire loading process: the upper layer docks precisely with each material port, with the automatic weighing device monitoring discharge volume in real time, while the lower layer simultaneously transfers assembly components to corresponding workstations.
When the RGV detects personnel approaching, the three colors warning light immediately switches to red flashing mode and slows to a stop. Operators can monitor the status of material port deliveries in real time via a central control screen, with the system automatically optimizing task sequences.
