25 Tons Cable Rail Transport Cart for Mold Handling in Workshop
Production Challenge
A major metal forging manufacturer faces a core logistics bottleneck in the production of large workpieces. Its heat treatment workshop frequently needs to transport high temperature forgings weighing over 20 tons between multiple stations. The company urgently requires an automated logistics device capable of performing fixed-route heavy duty transportation continuously, stably, and safely.
Solution
Based on the customer’s specific needs and actual application scenarios, we designed and manufactured this 25 tons cable drum powered rail transport cart as a dedicated logistics hub. The core of this solution is a customized rail transport cart system.

Continuous Power: Powered by a Cable Drum and Cable Guided Column system, it completely eliminates battery life limitations, enabling 7x24 uninterrupted operation to meet the continuous workflow demands of the heat treatment production line.
Heavy Duty and High Temperature Design: The cart body utilizes box-beam frame to ensure rigidity and is equipped with cast steel wheels to withstand heavy loads and high temperature environments.
Intelligent Safety Control: Operators flexibly control the cart via wireless remote control from a safe distance. The vehicle integrates audible/visual warning lights and physical emergency stop buttons. Preset tracks ensure fixed routes, avoiding risks from human-vehicle intersection.

Advantages
This solution integrates heavy load capacity, high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and safety. Electric drive achieves zero emissions; fixed-track transportation greatly optimizes logistics routes, improving workshop space utilization and transfer efficiency; its high temperature resistance and unlimited continuous operation capability match the demanding production rhythm of the forging workshop.

Application
In actual deployment, this rail transport cart operates along preset tracks connecting key workstations. After a workpiece is processed, the operator remotely directs the cart to the furnace front.
The cart then safely and steadily transports the workpiece along the track to the next station for further processing, continuing to the subsequent process after completion. The entire procedure is convenient, manageable by a single operator, and minimizes frequent crane intervention, forming an independent, efficient, and controllable "ground logistics artery."
The rail transport cart resolves stability and continuity challenges in heavy-load transportation, freeing operators from high temperature, high risk close-range tasks and significantly enhancing production safety and logistics efficiency. Its value lies in using reliable automation to eliminate logistics bottlenecks in heavy forging production lines, ensuring smooth production rhythms and stable operational upgrades.
