Solution
Based on actual production needs and the workshop layout, we designed and manufactured this 40 tons low voltage rail powered heavy duty rail transport cart. Built on a robust box-beam frame with a customized platform, it is specially equipped with evenly distributed detachable V-block,suited for securely supporting cylindrical and shaft-type workpieces. Its core advantage lies in drawing power from low-voltage rails, enabling continuous operation without restrictions on distance or duration.

Combined with wireless remote control, a single operator can easily perform remote precision movement and autonomous loading and unloading of workpieces, significantly freeing up crane resources and improving transport efficiency by 150%.

Application
After deployment, the equipment achieved fully automated transport of 40 tons wind power main shafts from the machining area to the assembly area: cranes place workpieces onto the V-block, operators remotely start the cart, which travels along rails to assembly stations hundreds of meters away, seamlessly connecting processes and forming a safe, smooth continuous logistics flow.
The laser dead man’s switch automatically avoids pedestrians, and safety bumpers immediately halt the cart upon detecting obstacles. Single transport time was reduced from 60 minutes to 20 minutes, daily transport volume increased threefold, and labor costs decreased by 70%.
