5 Tons Customized Trackless Transfer Cart for Workshop Material Handling

In a large scale machinery manufacturing plant, there is a frequent need to transport heavy workpieces and materials between workshops and the factory warehouse.
Traditional handling relies on rail mounted transfer carts, fixed tracks limit transportation routes, making it difficult to adapt to flexible multi-area transfer requirements.
Solution
Based on the customer’s operational needs and actual application scenarios, we have designed and manufactured this 5 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart.
The cart features a cast steel welded frame and polyurethane wheels, ensuring robust performance under heavy loads while protecting floor surfaces. According to the shape of the workpieces, a removable customized extension platform is installed above the standard deck to support irregular structural components.

Breaking Spatial Constraints: The cart operates without the need for tracks. Through wireless remote control, it moves freely through workshop aisles, allowing instant route adjustments and flexible responses to production changes.
Safe and Efficient Operation: Operators can precisely control the cart via wireless remote control from a safe distance. Audible and visual warning lights, along with emergency stop buttons, provide multiple layers of safety. Battery powered operation paired with portable charging stations enables 8 hours of continuous, zero emission operation, meeting environmental requirements in the workshop.
Stable Heavy Duty Transport: Designed specifically for heavy loads, the cart is equipped with a power level display for real-time energy monitoring, ensuring uninterrupted task execution.

Application
Operators use wireless remote control to maneuver the equipment, allowing flexible movement between workshops and the factory area, even through narrow passages. The power display provides real-time feedback on remaining battery life.
The extension platform easily accommodates extra-long materials, while the polyurethane wheels offer wear resistance and vibration damping to ensure damage free workpiece transfer.
This 5 tons trackless transfer cart not only addresses core pain points in heavy load transportation and operational limitations but also, with its high efficiency, environmental friendliness, and flexibility, has become an indispensable handling device in the enterprise’s flexible production system.
