Customized 5 Tons Automatic Charging Automated Guided Vehicle in Paper Plant
Production Challenges
A large paper mill's production workshop has long faced problems of low efficiency in raw material and finished product transfer and high labor costs. Traditional handling relies on forklifts and manual operation. Narrow workshop aisles, large vehicle turning radii, and limited vehicle movement restrict operations, while frequent forklift entry and exit pose safety hazards.
Solution
Based on the client's needs and actual application scenarios, we designed and manufactured this 5 tons lithium battery powered trackless Automated Guided Vehicle(AGV). The vehicle features a cast steel frame and a customized platform, equipped with wheels for omnidirectional movement and in-situ rotation, completely solving the problem of limited operation in narrow aisles.
This automated guided vehicle is equipped with an intelligent coding control system, supporting wireless remote control, wired handles, and automatic navigation modes. A customized detachable bracket is installed on top of the vehicle, allowing docking with the client's lifting equipment for autonomous loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products.

Advantages
This automated guided vehicle is equipped with a lithium battery and a smart charging station, meeting the needs of long-term continuous operation.
The combination of wireless remote control, wired handle, and intelligent coding control system enables precise scheduling and fixed-point stopping.
The wheel structure allows the vehicle to move laterally, diagonally, and rotate in place, effectively improving space utilization. A multi-layered safety protection system, including safety edges, a laser sensor device, an emergency stop button, and audible and visual warning lights, ensures stable equipment operation.

Applications
After receiving instructions, the automated guided vehicle automatically travels to the raw material area, using a lifting device to smoothly place the raw material trays onto detachable trays; after being transferred to the production line feeding port, it automatically unloads; finished rolls are also transported by the AGV to designated locations in the warehouse. The entire process requires no manual intervention, charging overnight and allowing for continuous operation for more than 8 hours during the day shift.
This 5 tons trackless automated guided vehicle effectively solves the problems of heavy duty transportation, route restrictions, and low loading and unloading efficiency in paper mills, achieving a flexible upgrade in production logistics.
