Production Challenges

In the painting process of a machinery manufacturing workshop, the transfer of large molds and heavy workpieces across workstations is challenging. Existing transfer equipment has limited battery life and cannot operate continuously for extended periods;

Heavy load movement and bumps easily damage the paint surface of workpieces; traditional transfer methods are cumbersome, pose safety hazards, and cause inconsistencies in production line integration, hindering the overall efficiency of the painting line.

Solution

To meet the company's needs, Newld designed this 10-ton mobile cable powered heavy duty  transfer cart.

The cart features a box-girder frame with a flat platform design for stable mold placement, and its load-bearing capacity meets the requirements of a 10-ton heavy load.

For power supply, a mobile cable power supply system is used. Through fixed slots and cable, a continuous and stable power input is provided to the cart, completely eliminating the need for battery charging.

The transfer cart supports both wireless remote control and wired handle control modes, allowing operators to switch flexibly according to site distance and line-of-sight conditions. Audible and visual warning lights are installed at the front and rear of the vehicle, along with an emergency stop button, forming a complete safety protection system.

Advantages

Firstly, the cable powered system eliminates time constraints, allowing the equipment to operate 24/7, eliminating the need for mid-shift charging.

Secondly, the combination of the box girder frame and insulated wheels ensures stable operation even under a full 10-ton load, with minimal shaking during mold transfer, effectively protecting the coating surface.

Applications

In actual production, the 10 ton mobile cable powered heavy duty transfer cart can be used to transfer large molds and metal workpieces from the processing area to the coating line, completing docking at designated workstations.

Running along a fixed track helps standardize transportation routes, reducing repetitive handling and manual coordination.
