Customized Trackless Transfer Cart for Versatile Workshop and Heavy Loads
Production Challenges
In the transfer of heavy duty rollers and sheet metal, traditional handling equipment is generally limited by pre-set tracks, resulting in poor flexibility. Furthermore, when there are slight height differences at the connection points, the cart is prone to sinking and swaying under full load, leading to compromised material handling accuracy and even scratching the workshop floor.
Solution
To address the customer's application challenges, Newld customized this 10 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart, with dimensions of 2740×1200×515mm tailored to the actual connection scenario.
Pre-drilled bolt holes were provided according to the existing tooling dimensions in the workshop. The cart also integrates a lead screw leg height adjustment and leveling device to meet high precision connection requirements.
The trackless transfer cart features both wired and wireless remote control modes, and is equipped with audible and visual warning lights, an emergency stop button, and a battery level display for convenient operation. It also provides full-process monitoring of the equipment and is compatible with the existing material handling workflow in the workshop.

Advantages
- Millimeter Level height Adjustment and Stable Support: The screw mechanism on both sides supports lifting from 0 to 101 mm; after the outriggers are raised and supported on the ground, the frame remains stable even under full load, quickly compensating for the difference in height between the ground and the workstation, and adapting to different equipment interface heights.
- Ground Protection Mechanism: The top plate of the outriggers is specially equipped with a polyurethane protective plate, ensuring no damage to the epoxy floor of the workshop even under high frequency heavy duty lifting.
- Unrestricted and Efficient Transfer: A large capacity battery with a portable charger allows for unlimited operating distance; audible and visual warnings and an emergency stop button ensure safety throughout the operation.

Applications
After being put into use, operators can control the trackless transfer cart's movement within a 50 meters range using a remote control. Before the cart reaches the material receiving station, the operator uses a handle to extend the screw outriggers on both sides to lift the cart, fine-tune the platform to the designated height, and lock it. Pre-set tooling strips and screw holes quickly connect with the rollers to complete smooth unloading and inter-workshop transport.
