Monorail Lifting Trackless Transfer Cart for Waste Treatment
Production Challenges
A large-scale waste treatment plant faced multiple challenges when transferring compacted waste and waste bales. Conventional forklifts frequently broke down in high temperature fermentation areas, manual operations were inefficient and posed safety risks, and the limited space in the workshop restricted the turning radius of ordinary handling equipment. Additionally, the loading and unloading of waste required precise docking with processing equipment.

Solution
Based on the customer’s operational needs, we designed and manufactured this 2 tons battery powered monorail transfer cart for the waste plant. The product features a splicing steel frame and a customized platform to support heavy loads, while a hydraulic lifting compartment enables autonomous loading and unloading.
Rubber wheels ensure flexible movement along the designated route, and battery power eliminates cable constraints.Laser dead man stop devices, along with audible and visual warning lights and emergency stop buttons, forms a triple-layered safety protection mechanism, ensuring stable and safe operation.

Advantages
Environmental: Battery powered operation replaces fuel-driven systems, eliminating exhaust pollution.
Efficient and Heavy Duty: With a 2 tons rated load capacity and hydraulic lifting, single-transfer efficiency is increased by 50%.
Flexible and safe: Wireless remote control offers unlimited operational range, and the laser sensor automatically halts the cart upon detecting obstacles, preventing collision risks.
Customization service for high adaptability: The single-rail design accommodates narrow pathways, and the hydraulic lifting stroke can be customized to match the depth of processing equipment.

Application
The transfer cart is deployed on a fixed rail between the waste compression zone and the temporary storage area.
During operation, the controller remotely directs the cart from an air-conditioned control room to the pit loading point. The hydraulic compartment automatically lowers to dock with the equipment and lifts after loading for transfer to the storage area.
Throughout the process, the laser system continuously scans the surroundings, immediately locking the cart if personnel intrusion is detected. The customized platform enables precise docking with bins of varying heights, and the hydraulic system completes loading and unloading within one minute. The rubber wheels perform reliably on dusty tracks, maintaining a failure rate below 0.5% even under continuous high temperature operation.
