Production Challenges

An electrical manufacturing company has a fixed workshop layout with multiple production lines operating in parallel. The company needs to transfer heavy transformers across workstations within the existing workshop space. Traditional rail transfer carts are limited by their installation routes and cannot flexibly adapt to changing transfer needs; while ordinary forklifts have limited load-bearing capacity and cannot meet the 20-ton heavy-duty requirements.

Solution

Based on the customer's specific application needs, Newld designed this 20 tons battery powered trackless transfer cart, combining flexible operation with heavy-duty requirements. The product measures 6000×3200×600mm, has a maximum operating speed of 25m/min, and uses polyurethane wheels that are wear-resistant, durable, and require no rail installation. The cart operates flexibly and can be fully adapted to the customer's existing production lines, requiring no large-scale workshop modifications for deployment.

• Flexible Operation and No Damage to Surfaces: High-strength polyurethane wheels are anti-slip and wear-resistant, with a small turning radius, allowing operation on hard and flat surfaces without the need for tracks. This enables flexible heavy-duty transport in production workshops with fixed production processes, while also allowing for flexible operation both indoors and outdoors within factory areas and workshops, tailored to specific enterprise needs.
• Green, Efficient, and Convenient Operation: This trackless transfer cart is battery powered and equipped with a portable charging station for convenient charging anytime, anywhere. The battery produces zero emissions and requires no frequent maintenance, significantly reducing the difficulty of use. Furthermore, the equipment features both wireless remote control and wired handle dual control modes, allowing operators to quickly learn how to use it by referring to the button indicators.
• Multiple Safety Protections: This trackless transfer cart integrates audible and visual warning lights and an emergency stop button. The audible and visual warning lights emit sound and flashing red light during operation to alert workers. The emergency stop button allows for immediate stopping of the equipment in emergencies, ensuring safety during high-frequency heavy-duty operations.
• Customized Applicability Design: The equipment features a customized 6000×3200x600mm flat platform perfectly adapted to the size of large transformers. The large platform provides ample contact surface for transported materials. The platform can also be fitted with non-slip leather or other materials to enhance its slip resistance, enabling the transport of various types and shapes of materials.

Applications

In actual production, operators can easily control the transfer cart via wireless remote control or a wired handle. The speed can be flexibly adjusted according to application needs, achieving a stable operation at up to 25m/min. This allows for seamless transfer of transformers from the winding station to the testing station and between different assembly stations, significantly improving process efficiency.
