3 Tons Rail Guided Vehicle: An Accurate Docking Solution for Mold Transport
Recently, a 3 tons mobile cable powered Rail Guided Vehicle, specifically designed for heavy duty transport scenarios in mold factories, was officially launched. With its customized structure, all-day battery life, and precise docking capabilities, it provides an efficient solution for material handling in mold production workshops.
This rail guided vehicle measures 4000×1600×820mm and features a high-strength box-girder frame, offering strong load-bearing capacity and impact resistance. To handle the 3-ton load requirement, the vehicle comes standard with highly wear-resistant cast steel wheels and a shock-absorbing system, ensuring smooth operation even under full load. Powered directly by a mobile cable, the vehicle completely overcomes battery range limitations, enabling continuous 24 hours operation without time constraints.

Addressing the complex conversion processes in mold factories, the vehicle is equipped with a highly robust customized platform:
- A recessed center design effectively lowers the vehicle's center of gravity, ensuring the stability of heavy molds during transport while accommodating docking heights between different processes, guaranteeing operational precision and reducing personnel intervention.
- A self-driving roller ladder: This special accessory enables precise docking between the transport vehicle and different processing procedures. Molds can slide smoothly and switch seamlessly via rollers, improving transfer efficiency.

Intelligent Control and Multiple Safety Features
This rail guided vehicle can be controlled via wireless remote control, wired handle, and PLC control system. On-site workers can perform precise fine-tuning at close range using the wired handle, or remotely command from a safe distance using the wireless remote control, offering convenient and flexible operation.
Furthermore, the PLC control system can monitor the equipment's operating status in real time and perform functions such as program setting. Simultaneously, the vehicle body integrates audible and visual warning lights, continuously providing dual visual and audible warnings during startup and operation, comprehensively strengthening the factory's safety defenses.
