Production Challenges

A heavy equipment manufacturing company faced a logistics bottleneck at the back end of its production line: Due to the weight and size of large containers within the production workshop, traditional manual handling or small forklifts were inadequate, resulting in low efficiency and significant safety hazards.

Solution

Based on the client's specific needs and production environment, we designed this 15 tons battery powered Rail Guided Vehicle. It features a customized track system tailored to the factory layout, employing a dual-vehicle linkage mode to accommodate the transport needs of extra-wide containers. A hydraulic lifting platform precisely connects to production conveyor lines at different heights, and a laser sensor device monitors the path in real time, eliminating the safety risks associated with manual assistance.

• Process Adaptation: The integrated hydraulic lifting system on the platform enables autonomous loading and unloading at workstations of different heights; it supports dual-vehicle linkage, easily handling the coordinated transport of oversized or overweight objects.

Application
After being put into production, the rail guided vehicle undertakes the task of transporting large containers between the processing area, assembly area, and storage area.
Operators use wireless remote control commands to precisely drive the RGV carrying the container into the designated workstation. Utilizing the hydraulic lifting platform, the rail guided vehicle automatically aligns with the production line height, achieving seamless integration. In the event of personnel or obstacles, laser sensors can trigger an emergency stop in real time, ensuring the safety of human-machine collaboration in the workshop.
